Things you should know about our Rally Driving Experiences
If you’re buying a gift for someone else or wanting to Experience Rally Driving yourself, you want the best value for money
Why should you pick us for your Rally Driving Experience?
Unlike some other companies that offer Rally Driving Experiences, we’re West Australian owned and operated. Also, we’re actual Rally Competitors who are heavily (and regularly) involved in WA Rallying.
What does this mean for our participants?
We aren’t an “Experience Farm”. We don’t pack in as many people as possible into a session and pay little regard to whether participants have a good experience. We genuinely want to see our participants enjoy themselves. One of the dot points of our mission statement is to encourage more people to become involved in Motorsports. We’ve had several of our previous participants come through our Rally Driving Experiences and go on to compete in Club Level Motorsport and/or full Rallying.
Quote “Thanks for a great day. Can’t stress enough how much your knowledge and input helped me adapt to my new car” We’re extremely happy with this and feel very privilidged to assist people to get into Motorsport.
A Rally Driving Experience with us means you’ll only share each Rally Car with up to 4 other drivers. We don’t want to have 20 people spending more time standing around than driving and 5 people per car allows plenty of driving time and shorter waiting periods.
What about our cars? It is true we don’t run the latest model Subarus. Why? There are several reasons. First of all, we don’t compete in the latest model Subaru ourselves and we regularly finish high up within the top ten of WA State Rallies. Also the last 3 years of the WA State Rally Championship, has been won by classic shape WRX’s and the later model cars couldn’t get close!
Our Rally Cars are not de-tuned (reduced power) for our Rally Experiences as we run Group A, gravel spec Rally Cars. The cars are fitted with full roll cages, 5 or 6 point race harnesses, gravel rally suspension and we run on proper gravel rally tyres instead of road tyres. Why are tyres important? Road tyres provide less grip and are therefore much more nervous on gravel surfaces for participants. We believe that to have a proper Rally Experience, you should be driving on proper rally tyres to have the grip and traction to get the most out of the cars on the surface. Also wet and muddy conditions cause us less problems as the rally tyres will still grip well, meaning we can run our Rally Experiences in wet weather when other companies have to cancel their events and leave their cars in the garage.
We can buy $199.00- 8 Lap rally driving Deals elsewhere, why do you not offer shorter experiences?
Simple. We believe an 8 lap deal is a waste of money. On a short track, 8 laps equates to a total of 5 minutes of driving. If you’ve travelled all that way to do a Rally Driving Experience, you want to have some decent seat time in a Rally Car. How would you feel if you went to dinner, paid a reasonable sum of money to only get one course and you found out it was an entre of one small spring roll? We’ve priced our Experiences to give value for money.
We have three Experiences to choose from, click here for more info.
